What Is the ELO Ranking System?
The ELO rating system evaluates players solely on their skill and performance — without taking into account bankroll size or financial resources. It is widely used in chess, board games, e-sports, and professional sports leagues to provide a fair and accurate measure of competitive ability.
Players progress through 7 levels — starting with E for beginners and reaching Grand Master status, reserved exclusively for the top 100 players on the platform.

What is the point of the ELO system?
The ELO system ensures players are ranked fairly and accurately, allowing everyone to measure their skill level against other competitors. ELO scores promote competitiveness and gaming satisfaction for all participants. Importantly, ELO rating does not affect matchmaking on 7XL — it only reflects each player’s skill level.
Does the system take stakes into account?
No. The system ignores bet size entirely — only your game results matter. The more you win, the higher your ranking. The size of the prize pool is irrelevant. Only your performance decides where you stand in the rankings.
Where can I find my ELO rating?
The ELO rating system is easy to find inside the 7XL client. On the left side of the Spin & Gold screen, there is a dedicated ELO menu tab. At the top of the ELO ranking page you’ll find your current rating and other statistics. Rankings are updated daily at midnight UTC.
What games are included in Spin & Gold ELO?
Spin & Gold ELO is available in all Spin & Gold game modes, with the exception of VIP Games.
How do opponent ratings affect my points?
Your score gains and losses depend on the skill level of your opponents. Beating a higher-ranked player earns more points; losing to a lower-ranked player costs more. Once you reach a rank level, it cannot be reduced — even if your rating drops below the threshold. The only exception is Grand Master, which requires staying in the top 100.
How do I know I’ve reached the next tier?
After each game you will see the total ranking points you have earned. When your rating hits the threshold for the next level, you will see your current rating and how many more points are needed to advance. Level-up notifications appear at the end of each game session.
